Exercise is essential to living a full and healthy life. As a personal trainer I believe that the best common sense exercise to achieve this is full body functional training. This training simultaneously uses multiple muscles and joints to improve muscular endurance, overall strength, coordination, balance, posture and agility. It's common sense to improve these areas since we use them every day in our real life activities.

What Makes Us Different?

Exercise is essential to living a full and healthy life. As a personal trainer I believe that the best common sense exercise to achieve this is full body functional training. This training simultaneously uses multiple muscles and joints to improve muscular endurance, overall strength, coordination, balance, posture and agility. It’s common sense to improve these areas since we use them every day in our real life activities. It’s important that we exercise to live rather than live to exercise. It’s unhealthy to become so obsessed with it that we lose the balance we need in our lives. Exercise doesn’t have to be boring either. As I’m sure you know we are all more likely to stick with our fitness plan when it’s something we enjoy.

I also believe that music and fitness inspire a lot of the same emotions. They are both fun and exhilarating. We can experience a physical and emotional “good tired” when it’s over. If you have ever performed in any way you know what that “good tired” means. Like ‘Rock Stars,” you leave tired but happy because the audience enjoyed your performance. When you leave my workouts I want you to feel like those “Rock Stars” too and feel tired but happy and satisfied because of your accomplishment in reaching your personal goals.

So, I encourage you to train like a “Rock Star.” Crank up the music and push yourself. Sweat, move, laugh and enjoy the comradery of your group. What better encouragement than to have the one next to you saying, “come on, you can do this.” Its community and that is what I am hoping to create; a healthier, happier community.
